The NOW now festival of spontaneous, exploratory and experimental music is moving back to Sydney for its 10th anniversary. The festival presents music and film without borders, with acts ranging from free jazz, to doom metal, to hip-hop beats, to feedback noisescapes and everything in between. Back at home in Sydney’s inner west the festival will be at The Red Rattler in Marrickville and Serial Space in Chippendale. Presenting over 100 artists over 7 days the festival starts on Friday the 21st and runs until the 28th of January.
